Founding CEO Opportunity – Japanese Language Skills Required

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to serve as Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) and drive the commercialization of JigSAP, a cutting-edge peptide-based technology developed in Japan for regenerative medicine.This position is part of the EIR program run by KSP Inc., with the goal of establishing a new startup by 2026. The selected individual will join the founding team as a CEO or CTO candidate, actively involved from the pre-incorporation phase.

Fluency in Japanese is required, as the role involves close collaboration with academic, clinical, and corporate partners in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

As the EIR and founding CEO (or CTO) candidate for the JigSAP project, you will:

• Design and execute business strategies to translate cutting-edge research into real-world applications

• Develop and validate business plans, including market fit and commercialization hypotheses

• Lead fundraising activities, including grant applications, VC outreach, and industry partnerships

• Build strategic alliances with universities, hospitals, and corporate partners

• Establish the founding team, including hiring plans and organizational structure

You will play a central role in driving the transition from the research phase to full-scale startup launch, with the goal of company incorporation in FY2026.
